Tripura Nature Trails and Resorts Ltd. (TNTR) was established on 21st November, 2022, as a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the purview of the Tripura Forest Department (TFD). The primary objective of TNTR is to spearhead the development and promotion of Eco-Tourism within the state of Tripura, thereby fostering a harmonious synergy between tourism, growth and environmental preservation.
Covering a sprawling area of 6,292.68 square kilometres, Tripura boasts extensive forest regions, constituting nearly 59.98% of the state's total landmass. Moreover, approximately 60% of its terrain is characterized by rugged hills.
